Jewelry designer Rachel Reves was raised in Kansas where she taught herself how to make jewelry from sterling silver wire and fine gems 10 years ago. While traveling abroad in her early 20’s, she became fascinated by all of the different styles of wire work she found in different countries. This inspired her to incorporate different styles into her work and to this day she uses inspiration from different countries, eras, nature and artistic styles in her pieces.

For Rachel, creating jewelry is an intimate process. One that was difficult to learn, and even harder to perfect. Most of her jewelry is created intuitively, and completely naturally without any preconceived notion of what it will turn out like. This allows the creative process to flow freely, and makes each piece completely unique.
